We had nine chili chefs and all were very excited, Jamie of Big Jakes was the judge. 1st place was won by Carol Carroll & Emily Burt with Mauka Fire Chili, 2nd Place was Kathy Wood with Red Hot Dragon’s Breath Chile - Chuck Wagon Style and 3rd place was Justin Sims with Choke Chili Chili. The People Choice award went to Justin Sims with Choke Chili Chili . The best named Chili was Bryce Decker's: Prairie Dog Town Fork of the Red River Chili.
A wonderful time was had by all! Thank you Kathy Wood!

"A good time was had by all. After the tour our guide brought out four pitchers of beer which we all got to sample. As we finished our samples they brought our our dinner, bread sticks, salad and an assortment of pizzas."

Valentine's Day Cruise Sights along the Coast-February 14, 2010

As we left Kailua Bay, we passed by Hulihee Palace.

Further down the coast is Red Hill which is an important landmark for fishermen.

The famous Captain Cook monument in Kealakekua Bay. Coincidentally, February 14, 1779 was the day Captain Cook was killed. Eerie being there on the very same day- 231 years later.

Another great Workshop was held at Kona Rainforest Coffee on June 23, 2009 discussing Selecting Future Growth. Led by Bob Smith and with the warm hospitality of Dawn and Robert Barnes, all who attended enjoyed the information and the lunch given by our hosts.

Vanilla Farm Tour, June 11, 2009 Pauuilo with 38 attendees and a good time was had by all!
A beautiful day and drive over to Hamakua.
